The guy survived but police think speed might have been a factor......I think it was from not staying on the freeway from crappy driving!

I'd like to purchase twp (2) Dance tickets for the 11th in Nelson...email: tserviss@shaw.ca Get hold of Mike or Pat (their number is the contact number on the website) and they may be able to track you down a couple....maybe....they are a hot item and we are only allowed to sell about 1000 tickets due to fire and safety regulation. If I hear of anyone who has tickets left I will tell them to contact you. |

Tuesday, September 7th at the Hume Hotel.....7PM will be a volunteer meeting.....We need your help. Bring a friend or neighbour that can help out for an hour or two during the show weeekend....You do not need to be a Road King Member to help....after all its one of the largest communty events held in Nelson so lets show the out of towners that we have great community spirit................... afterall it's fun and its FREE!!

This Sunday (Aug 15th) will be at Bogustown. We want the lot full of cars and full of Roadkings wearing criaing clothes or their Roadkings wear. The photos will be taken when the sun starts to go down around 5:30ish.
Bogustown will be putting on a special menu for us so it will be a cool time. Originally we thought about everyone showing up at 2 or so but that might be a long time to hang around so perhaps showing up around 4:00 might be a time. This way you'll have time to cruise out to Sunshine Bay park in Proctor/Harrop and hang with the Vintage Car show folk for awhile. See you on Sunday!!! |
